FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO EMPOWER CHIBOK COMMUNITY WITH EQUIPMENT FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.

The Federal Government is to empower the Chibok Community in Borno State with farming equipments and other skill acquisition accessories worth N210 Million with a view to revitalising the economy of the area, after the unfortunate unsettling of the community in 2014 due to the kidnapping of school girls from the Girls Secondary School, Chibok.

The Minister of Women Affairs, Barrister (Mrs) Uju Kennedy Ohanenye disclosed this yesterday when she met with the delegation from Chibok Community, led by it’s District Head, Engr. Ahmadu Usman, in her office in Abuja.
